High School Diploma

Exemplary interpersonal, communication, technology, organizational, and clerical skills.

Essential Performance Responsibilities

Reception duties

Collect attendance and follow up phone calls related to attendance

Xeroxing

Fill supply requisitions for teachers and staff

Inventory supply orders

Typing and filing of purchase orders as requested by the principal

Registration of new students

Distribution of new student records to teachers and nurse

Removal of transferring students from appropriate lists

Completion of permanent record card

Send records of transferring students to requesting school

Distribution of papers to teachers and students

Distribution of mail to teachers and staff

Compile ADA/AMA

Refer students with attendance problems to School Principal

Compile and post daily student attendance.

Contact parents of students not in compliance with attendance policy

Substitute for nurse for minor items in the absence of the nurse or health assistant

Assist parents in retrieving their children to pick the child up from school

Maintain Xerox machine and responsible for adding paper to the machine.

Perform such other tasks and assume such other responsibilities as assigned by the principal

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Technical

Manages school records in accordance with Illinois School Student Records Act, providing efficient retrieval of information and other related archival responsibilities

Maintains the daily environment of the school office facility and supplies

Utilizes existing technology effectively in the performance of duties

Computer literacy and competency in use of existing technology

Interpersonal

Maintains contact with a professional nursing organization and utilizes continuing education opportunities to enhance professional knowledge

Participates as an active member of the school community, representing health/wellness

Performs other such duties and assumes other such responsibilities as may be assigned by the School Principal or Associate Superintendent of Education

Terms of Employment June 8, 2026 - July 2, 2026; Monday thru Friday; 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Salary Range Minimum of $15.64 per hour. (Current D50 employees in this position will be paid their current rate of pay.)
