Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle Management:

Execute end‑to‑end P&O processes from onboarding to off‑boarding, including contract management, internal mobility, and employee data changes. Maintain accurate records in HCM systems (e.g., Workday, SAP/HR Core, SHAPEiN) and process transactions in the Case Management System. Collaborate with P&O Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and Technology teams to deliver a seamless employee experience. Collaborate and build close partnership with Executive Rewards team.

Benefits Administration:

Manage benefits‑related processes such as enrollment, life‑events changes, and terminations as instructed. Provide expert guidance on benefits offerings and ensure compliance with country legal and internal Sandoz policy requirements. Manage affiliation to benefits providers, state/cantonal services, and pension plan providers.Perform reconciliations of pension plan files with payroll records.

Time&Attendance Management:

Oversee time and attendance systems to ensure accurate tracking of working hours, absences, and leaves. Support employees and managers in resolving related issues and ensure adherence to local labour laws and internal policies.

Payroll Coordination:

Collaborate with internal payroll team and external providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Resolve employee payroll queries before final payroll run and support audits with compliance to internal controls and local regulations. Interact with global mobility team, external tax consultants and P&O teams for correct payroll processing. Prepare official statements (e.g., annual salary statements) and support tax, social security, family allowance requirements.

Operational Excellence&Compliance:

Ensure adherence to global and local P&O policies, labour laws and data protection standards (e.g., GDPR). Maintain audit‑ready documentation, perform quality checks and support internal audits.

Performance Monitoring&Reporting:

Monitor service delivery performance against defined KPIs (e.g., turnaround time, first‑time‑right rate). Identify root causes of SLA breaches or quality issues and implement corrective actions. Contribute to regular operational reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Project&Initiative Participation:

Actively participate in country projects and initiatives assigned by the manager.

Team Support&Knowledge Sharing:

Provide guidance to junior team members and foster collaboration and continuous learning.

Qualifications

5–8 years of experience in P&O Operations, ideally with executive support experience in an international context. Fluent in German and English (written and spoken). Relevant working knowledge of local labour law and P&O compliance requirements. Good understanding of processes, tools, and analytical methods. Ability to independently resolve most queries and tickets; escalates only highly complex or cross‑functional issues. Solid experience in multiple P&O Operations areas. Advanced experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, ServiceNow) and time management tools. Excellent communication skills and ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships. Strong interpersonal, senior stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills. High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.Ability to work in a fast‑paced, matrix organization.
