Our client is the Group Accounting of an international bank in Zurich. We are looking for a specialist in banking regulatory matters (m, f, d) as Specialist Regulatory Reporting Bank (FINMA/ECB) Aufgaben Assisting with the ongoing preparation of regulatory reports for Swiss and international supervisory authorities, such as capital adequacy, LCR, NSFR, statistical reports, etc. / Independently analysing and preparing specific technical aspects in the own reporting area, researching and identifying the necessary data, and ensuring that reports are prepared in coordination with the team and the relevant specialist departments, accurately, correctly and on time monthly and quarterly / Ongoing analysis of variances and trends in capital and liquidity metrics, and preparation of reports for senior management in the areas of risk, treasury and finance, providing clear explanations of the causes of variations / Ensuring documentation and collaborating on the automation of the department as well as the optimisation of processes in cooperation with business analysts and IT specialists / Monitoring regulatory changes (FINMA/EBA) relevant to the own reporting area, including the assessment of changes and their impact on data, systems and processes, and working closely with the Finance department and Risk Management in particular to implement the necessary data quality standards / Ad hoc projects with senior colleagues. Qualifikation Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance or Quantitative Finance / Professional experience in banking, auditing or management consulting relating to regulatory reporting or accounting policies / In-depth knowledge of the regulatory environment for banks, such as FINMA regulations, EBA guidelines / Analytical mindset with a team-oriented approach / Interest in a structured, independent way of working / Service-oriented mindset and interest in engaging with stakeholders / IT skills, proficient in banking software, MS Excel, SQL, VBA and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI) / German and English.
