This opportunity is best suited to candidates who have built their careers within clearing, settlement, custody, securities finance, exchanges, central counterparties, central securities depositories, or similarly regulated market infrastructure environments.Head of Legal Securities ServicesAbout the RoleYou will lead the legal and regulatory function for a complex international securities services business operating across multiple European jurisdictions.The role covers legal oversight of activities including:Clearing, settlement, and custody servicesSecurities finance, repo, and collateral managementTrade repository and regulatory reporting servicesDigital asset and post-trade infrastructure servicesYou will advise senior business leadership on strategic legal and regulatory matters, oversee legal risk across regulated entities, support cross-border corporate and regulatory projects, and implement effective governance and legal frameworks across the business.The position also includes leadership responsibility for an international legal team based across Europe, with a strong focus on stakeholder management, operational execution, and driving high performance within a complex regulated environment.About the CandidateYou are a qualified lawyer with significant experience gained within financial market infrastructure, securities services, or post-trade environments.
