Vice President Group Quality & EOHS 100% (f/m/d)About the Role – The VP Group Quality & EOHS fosters a pervasive quality culture across the company, ensuring alignment with the company's mission statement. This leader develops and executes a strategic quality plan in partnership with the two Divisions of Burckhardt Compression – Systems (SYST) and Services (SERV), and with the Executive Management Team, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. Additionally, the incumbent has operational responsibility for Quality & EOHS for the SYST Division and its legal entities within the Group framework.Vice President Group Quality & EOHS 100% (f/m/d)Responsibilities:The Group role defines the framework of the Quality & EOHS function:Cultivate a culture of Quality and Safety through projects and actions aligned with the company mission statement.Design and implement dashboards for effective reporting.Global coordination of relevant Quality – related activities between global functions and legal entities.Design and implement mental health campaigns to improve the mental and physical wellbeing of group employees.The Division Role ensures the operational Q&EOHS Management within the Group’s framework:Cultivate a culture of Quality and Safety through projects and actions aligned with the company mission statement.Address Client Quality requirements by identifying process controls and mobilizing the organization to enhance customer satisfaction.Improve Supplier quality by identifying and encouraging enhancements.Analyze data to identify improvement opportunities in processes, products, projects, and production.Support and actively join the R&D gate review process.Study and document processes, identifying opportunities to automate or eliminate steps for improved turnaround time.Document improvement action plans for processes, products, projects, and production.Lead project review meetings to evaluate progress and ensure alignment with goals.Establish Quality Assurance Plans for both existing and new projects and products.Design and implement dashboards for effective reporting.Coordinate with internal teams to drive quality-related actions.Ensure Root Cause Analysis of errors are conducted and action plans prepared.Support, facilitation, training of involved employees on product quality topics and customer quality issues resolution.Global coordination of relevant Quality – related activities between global functions and legal entities.Implement, maintain, and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards at Burckhardt Compression in Switzerland (BCAG) and other assigned legal entities.Safeguard assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction, or interference.Organize and conduct internal and external audits at BC to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.Design and implement mental health campaigns to improve the mental and physical wellbeing of group employees.Manage Quality function and provide functional leadership within a divisional and regional matrix.Qualifications and Required Skills:University Degree preferably in EngineeringDemonstrated and extensive experience in Quality and Supplier Quality at both operational and strategic levelSolid exposure to companies operating at global level in both established and emerging marketsProven experience in a similar industry in both QMS and in EOHSConsolidated ability to lead a large team in different locations and across different culturesProficient English spoken and written,German and other languages advantageousLeadership skills with ability to inspire and influence a large organization towards the achievement of ambitious goalsAbility to work in a matrix and across different cultures and hierarchical levelsDetail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentPositive mindset, team-focused approach and proven leadership track record, including people development and project managementWe offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.A collaborative and inclusive work environment.The chance to make a significant impact in a critical growth area for our company.Flexible and hybrid working conditionsVersatile and autonomous activities and tasksProfessional development opportunitiesParticipation in job-related training and further educationAbove-average pension fundAppreciative and inclusive corporate cultureDemonstrated lived values that value diversityDynamic, international environment with committed employeesStructured induction processShort public transport connectionsAre you interested in the role and in working for Burckhardt Compression?
