Responsibilities
Active participation in culinary kitchen work.
Partial responsibility for specific kitchen tasks (by agreement).
Create a creative salad buffet, bake, create desserts, and manage kitchen responsibility during the chef’s absence.
Comply with all hygiene regulations, including daily cleaning tasks.
Use food and equipment properly and economically; cost‑efficient, profitable work.
Profile You are a responsible and self‑driven professional who works passionately in the kitchen without additives or flavor enhancers. You bring your creativity, keep an overview even in hectic situations, and are used to working cleanly and quickly. You are a cheerful, team‑oriented, diligent and resilient person, and already haveexperience in hospitality or as a baker/cake designer or confectioner. Then you fit perfectly into our operation!
Because we have an open kitchen in the entrance area of our shop, you are often the first point of contact for guests. Therefore, Swiss German is a mandatory language skill.
Work Environment We offer a dynamic and family‑like working environment with a motivated, young team. You can bring your skills and personality. You get independent work and decision possibilities corresponding to the position. Because our hospitality business is integrated into a vegetable shop, you enjoy regular working hours (open Mon‑Sat) without penalty hours. We are a soup restaurant, with daily four fresh, highly nutritious soups, a daily fresh salad buffet, a weekly menu, homemade pasta with various homemade sauces, and of course homemade cakes and desserts.
Qualifications
Semi‑skilled.
More than 3 years work experience.
Vocational education and training with the Swiss Federal VET Certificate or equivalent.
Swedish(?) Swiss German - Orally very good, written none.
German - Orally very good, written good.
