Aveva System Platform IT Engineer– GMP/CSV Expert, Vevey

About the role We are seeking a

strong and experienced IT Engineer

to support and manage industrial IT systems in a

GMP-regulated

environment. The ideal candidate will bring robust expertise in

IT infrastructure ,

Windows environments , and

system integration , along with a

high-level understanding

of

Aveva System Platform . This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, compliance, and performance of our industrial IT landscape requirements.

Responsibilities

Oversee and undertake system installations, upgrades, and configuration of interfaces between industrial and enterprise systems, mainly Aveva System Platform.

Manage

Windows Server and Client environments , including Active Directory, Group Policies, and patch management.

Design, implement, and maintain robust

IT infrastructure

supporting industrial systems.

Provide high-level support and coordination for

Aveva System Platform

solutions.

Ensure compliance with

GMP

and

CSV

(Computer System Validation) requirements.

Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and validation records.

Collaborate with automation, process, and QA teams to align IT systems with operational needs.

Support audits and inspections with technical documentation and expertise.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical and manufacturing systems

Strong experience in

IT engineering , including:

Windows Server&Client OS

Networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls)

Backup and disaster recovery

Cybersecurity best practices

High-level understanding of

Aveva System Platform

(architecture, capabilities, integration points).

Experience in

GMP-regulated

environments and understanding of

CSV

principles.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Fluent in

French

(spoken and written).

Familiarity with other SCADA, MES, or other industrial IT systems.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities on-site.
