About Mixverse AG Mixverse AG is researching components for the next gen AR near-eye devices (smart glasses). We are a team of optical physicists, AI engineers, and visionaries united by one goal: to remove the friction between digital information and human perception.

The Role As the Head of Finance, you'll play a pivotal role in leading the growth of a tech startup. In addition, you will also work in other companies of the same group in the field of AI and an alternative asset manager. In the context of a startup, broad-based finance, banking and solid tech interest and experience would be helpful. A hands‑on attitude is absolutely required in a small team, as is strong teamwork. This role is part time, 60‑80%.

Responsibilities

Overseeing financial strategy, planning, management, and reporting, aligning them with Mixverse AG’s strategic goals.

Leading financial analysis and forecasting, providing insights that support business decisions.

Ensures optimum capital, liquidity, and funding; manage, investments, and fundraising initiatives to support the company's growth. Run the capital planning process for the firm.

Ensuring compliance with internal control, standards, maintaining impeccable financial integrity. Maintain a performant and all‑encompassing control framework. Ensure leadership over all compliance matters and the management of operational risk.

Fostering strong relationships with investors, external auditors, providers of outsourced services, banks, and financial institutions.

Collaborating closely with other executive team members to drive company‑wide strategies.

Advising on financial implications of business activities and strategic initiatives.

Be a change agent during times of significant business transformation and growth the firm.

Provide ad‑hoc, monthly and quarterly financial and management reports&analysis, via board’s committees.

Oversee tax and audit compliance.

Reporting Line Direct Reporting Line to CEO.

Who You Are

Proven experience in a Head of Finance or senior financial leadership role.

Swiss nationality or B/C permit in Switzerland.

Deep understanding of financial strategy, risk control, and compliance.

Strong analytical skills and experience in financial forecasting and reporting.

Excellent leadership abilities with exceptional drive and commitment, tenacity.

A hands‑on working attitude, as required in a small team / company. Ability to work independently.

Commercially minded; customer focused.

Outstanding leadership skills, demonstrating ability to use initiative and effective delivery.

Ability to highlight problems but more importantly offer creative solutions, and drive through their execution in a collective environment.

Strong management information background, both in terms of required content, production processes and understanding what drives the numbers reported.

Solid controls background (internal&external audit experience is a plus).

Strong communication skills.

Robust network, with expertise in fundraising and investor relations is a plus.

A university degree in finance, accounting, business, or related fields, with an MBA or relevant financial certification (e.g., CPA) highly regarded.

Fluency in German and English, embodying integrity, strategic thinking, and innovation.
