Responsibilities
Acquire new customers through outbound and inbound sales activities in collaboration with the Business Development Representative and the marketing team.
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts (MSPs, ITSPs, large SMBs).
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and requests.
Build strong, long‑term relationships with key stakeholders on the customer side.
Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities to maximize customer lifetime value.
Own the sales cycle for new customers, from first contact to closing and onboarding.
Coordinate with internal teams (platform, product, business operations, finance) to deliver solutions.
Support the first phase of onboarding of new customers.
Monitor account performance and provide regular reporting and insights.
Proactively identify risks and resolve issues to maintain high customer satisfaction.
Requirements Must‑haves
Relevant work experience:
At least five years in a technology company (excluding training, apprenticeship or internship). At least two years in account management, sales, business development, or customer success in a technology company focusing on IT infrastructure (ideally mid‑market).
Technical affinity and know‑how:
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and the cloud. Familiar with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, public and private cloud, VMs, containers, and related topics.
Drive&Ownership:
Self‑starter who takes responsibility and persistently works toward results.
Matching education:
Bachelor’s degree (or comparable) in Information Systems, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
German&English (Swiss context):
Fluent in both German and English, with confident written and spoken communication. Ability to follow Swiss German conversations.
Customer Focus:
Keeps the customer's interests in sight and goes the extra mile for customers.
Collaborative Team Player:
Thrives in cross‑functional environments with internal and external stakeholders.
CRM Pro:
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Results‑oriented mindset:
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Nice‑to‑haves
Entrepreneurial Spirit:
Self‑motivated, initiative‑driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
Swiss German and other languages:
Additional languages are a plus; Swiss German is an asset.
HubSpot:
Hands‑on experience and/or certification is valuable.
AI mindset:
Curiosity towards AI‑supported workflows and willingness to leverage AI to improve efficiency.
Process awareness:
Willingness to contribute ideas to optimize sales and marketing processes.
