Position Overview

Associate Professorship in Public Management (75%). The University of St.Gallen and its School of Management are inviting applications for an Associate Professorship in the field of Public Management. The triple accredited (EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA) university offers a stimulating and well equipped research environment with a large network ranging from start-ups, small businesses to large firms and the public sector to engage in research. The new professorship in the School of Management will be invited to become part of our dynamic faculty.Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver courses in Public Management and Public Governance in German and English. Teach at all levels, including executive programs. Conduct research with a proven track record in leading journals and publish in top journals (e.g. FT 50). Present and contribute at research talks and conferences.Attract external research funding. Contribute actively to the academic community and governance of the university. Engage with industry, small and large firms and the public sector over a large network. Qualifications

Internationally recognized and leading track record in research in Public Administration and Public Management. Multiple publications in top journals (e.g. FT 50) and a pipeline of promising research projects. Strong international academic network, ties with the public sector and excellent teaching skills on all levels.Ability to teach immediately in one language and in the other language within two years.
