Integration Consultant - Structured Products, Saint Gallen

Project description We are seeking an experienced Integration Consultant to support the design and implementation of REST based integrations between internal pricing systems and external structured products platforms, including SIMON, Luma, and HALO. This role will work closely with Front Office Technology, Quants, Trading, and external vendors to enable scalable, resilient, and production ready API integrations.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and support REST based API integrations with external structured products platforms (SIMON, Luma, HALO)

Integrate external platforms with internal pricing, booking, and lifecycle systems

Define and implement API contracts, data models, and payload mappings

Handle authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, API keys, token based auth)

Implement error handling, retries, idempotency, and monitoring

Support UAT and production rollout, including performance and volume testing

Work with business stakeholders to translate trading and structuring requirements into technical solutions

Coordinate with external vendors (e.g., platform providers) on integration standards

Produce clear technical documentation and integration runbooks

Skills Must have

Strong hands on experience with REST APIs (JSON, HTTP, OpenAPI/Swagger)

Proven experience integrating with external vendor platforms (financial or structured products preferred)

Familiarity with authentication&security best practices (OAuth2, bearer tokens)

Experience working in Front Office or Capital Markets technology environments

Strong debugging skills across distributed systems

Nice to have

Experience with SIMON, Luma, and/or HALO integrations (hands on preferred)

Experience with structured products, derivatives, or equity linked notes

Experience with cloud based integration patterns

Ability to work across IT, Quants, Trading, and Operations

Soft Skills

Strong communication with technical and non technical stakeholders

Ability to operate independently and drive outcomes

Comfortable working in fast paced Front Office environments
