Assignment Details Position Title: K-4 Technology Integrationist Teacher - Multiple Positions
Department/Building: District Wide - Elementary
Reports to: Building Principal / Director of Schools
Assignment: 2026-2027 School Year– Ongoing
Hours: 8 per day, Monday through Friday (184 Duty Days)
Salary Range: $46,936– $90,238 (Based on education and experience; wages outlined in the Certified Master Contract located on district website)
Union: Ed MN
FLSA: Overtime Exempt
Benefits Health, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD, TRA, 403b and PTO/ESST
Position Overview The K-4 Technology Integrationist Teacher delivers engaging, standards‑based instruction focused on developing students’ digital literacy and STEM skills. This position facilitates 25‑minute rotations, guiding students in building essential technology, research, problem‑solving, and communication skills aligned with the ISTE Standards for Students. Through hands‑on, interactive learning experiences, the teacher prepares students to thrive in a digital and interconnected world.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver weekly technology lessons aligned with ISTE standards, focusing on foundational digital literacy, coding, internet safety, and responsible technology use.
Assess student progress in technology skills and provide feedback to students, parents, and teachers to support growth and development.
Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
Establish clear expectations and routines to promote positive behavior and minimize disruptions.
Manage and distribute materials and equipment for science, art, and technology at the site.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
MN Licensed Teacher
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Familiarity with age‑appropriate technology tools (e.g., iPads, Chromebooks, interactive whiteboards).
Knowledge of educational software and apps (e.g., Google Workspace for Education, Scratch).
Understanding of coding, robotics, and basic computational thinking concepts.
Strong understanding of internet safety, privacy, and responsible technology use.
Ability to teach students how to evaluate online information and behave ethically online.
Ability to teach students and staff how to use technology tools effectively.
Capability to model and implement evidence‑based practices for technology integration in the classroom.
Troubleshooting basic tech issues (hardware, software, connectivity).
