Project Engineer– 6928 – ADA

Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is recruiting for a

Project Engineer for a 1-year contract . This is an onsite role based in

Visp, Switzerland .

Main Responsibilities: Technical project management (60%):

Planning and realization of small and middle-sized investment projects with direct impact on current production and/or business results.

Process engineering calculations and plant optimizations.

Feasibility studies of new plants and/or rebuilds of existing plants including cost estimation, scheduling and functionality.

Planning, realization and support of production adjustments and product launches.

Concept development (20%): Elaboration of possible technical solutions with evaluation of advantages and disadvantages.

Team coordination / Resource management (10%): Procurement and organization of the necessary resources (internal or external) for the professional and timely execution of a project.

Optimization of processes and transfer of know-how (10%):

Finding of optimizations in process flows as well as their implementation.

Skills application and incorporation of professional knowledge in daily work.

Qualifications and Experience:

Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required.

Education:

Technical college degree or university degree bachelor’s or master’s degree.

Preferred area of study:

Mechanical engineering, process technology, Bio- or chemical engineering.

Experience:

3– 10 year of work experience in GMP environment.

Very good communication skills.

Highly independent, structured and flexible working style.

Excellent leadership skills in a matrix organization.

Understanding of business and financial processes.

Solution-oriented with structured working.

Fluency in
