Head Concierge, Zermatt

Head Concierge MRH-Zermatt SA– Vacancy: 19.01.2026 | 1 position | Zermatt (VS) – 100% – Start 15.04.2026 – Permanent – Registration required.

Main Tasks

Ensure daily implementation of Concierge service standards and protocols.

Oversee guest reception from arrival to departure and manage complex Concierge requests.

Supervise Concierge operations, including reservations, billing, and cash handling.

Manage all types of guest reservations and services (restaurants, transportation, activities, medical appointments, etc.).

Build strong guest relationships, handle complaints professionally, and ensure high guest satisfaction.

Lead and coordinate the Concierge and Bell Staff teams in collaboration with the Assistant Head Concierge.

Organize daily operations, allocate tasks, and optimize staffing levels.

Monitor departmental performance indicators and contribute to service quality improvements.

Promote hotel services, develop guest loyalty, and drive revenue through cross-selling.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

Profile

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Luxury Concierge department within a 5‑star / Palace hotel, ideally in a premium mountain resort.

Proven experience in a seasonal environment with high activity levels and operational peak periods.

Strong experience in team leadership, operational planning, and guest relations excellence.

Demonstrated ability to handle VIP and high‑profile guests with absolute discretion and attention to detail.

BA in Hospitality or equivalent apprenticeship; further education or certifications in Guest Service is a plus.

Fluent in English (oral and written); German fluency preferred. Other European languages are a plus.

Excellent interpersonal skills and professional manners.

Absolute discretion and strict respect for guest confidentiality.

Well‑groomed appearance and strong organizational skills.

Extensive local knowledge.

Membership in Les Clefs d’Or is a plus.

Solid IT / computer skills.

Valid driving license.
