The head of publishing has overall responsibility for the publishing team and manages the team to optimize the performance in collaboration with other leads and the CEO.

Responsibilities Have overall team responsibility for production, marketing, community management and sales Oversee the production process from first playable game versions until release Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote and advertise our games Make sure our games exploit their full sales potential by expanding all sales channelsDefine responsibilities, show opportunities, evaluate performance and promote team members Optimize the performance of the team, define new profiles and hire new team members Convey the essential goals to the team, act as a motivator and ensure deadlines are reached Establish a close collaboration with the head of development, head of art and the CEO

Requirements 3+ years of experience with leadership and 5+ years of experience with game publishing or similar Hands-on experience with production, marketing, community management, sales and distribution Strong project management, negotiation, sales and deal-maker skills Great organization, moderation and social skills paired with strong assertivenessA strong portfolio showcasing released products you have worked on German and English communication and writing skills (B2 level or higher)

Preferences Worked on shipped products in the video game industry Experience with multi-platform releases of shipped products (PC, PlayStation, Xbox) Advanced experience with game testing, certification, age rating and similar Expert-level knowledge of social media, press events, ad campaigns and sales optimizationStrong interest in our games, in particular Transport Fever 2 and 3 Degree in leadership, management, marketing, publishing or related field
