KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Counsel and advise students and parents on academic options

Advise students on their university applications

Coach students for university interviews

Organise events and platforms to increase awareness of further education and training options

Ensure that the academic referees are in alignment with university requirements (especially for the Common Application and UCAS)

Evaluate Predicted Grades, essays and other university application examinations (such as SAT, ACT, LNAT, BMAT, IETLS, TOEFL, CAE, TOLC, Art Portfolios etc.)

Assist in securing and organising the 11th graders’ internships

PROFILE AND COMPETENCIES

Fluent French and English (German, Italian, Spanish or Russian a plus)

In-depth knowledge of the US, UK, European and Swiss university admission procedures and requirements to be able to advise all students (with IB, French Bac or the Swiss Maturity)

Able to efficiently network with university admission officers

Proficient and experienced in student personal development and self-awareness coaching

Very good interpersonal communication skills, listening and counselling skills

Experienced in university admission testing, mock-interview training and essay/personal statement advice and guidance
