In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities As an Operations&Supply Chain Strategy Consultant, you will support global clients in improving operational resilience, reducing costs and driving innovation. Leveraging a growth mindset, you’re ready to deliver business value wherever needed. In your role, you may be responsible for:

Lead supply chain strategy design, network optimization, and resilience planning.

Drive procurement and sourcing strategy to reduce costs and strengthen supplier relationships.

Optimize end‑to‑end operations including manufacturing, logistics, and distribution.

Use data analytics to identify operational bottlenecks and improve performance.

Facilitate executive‑level workshops and contribute to business development.

Required education Bachelor’s Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

Extensive consulting experience in Operations and Supply Chain.

Strong knowledge of supply chain planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution.

Demonstrated expertise in process improvement and cost‑reduction initiatives.

Excellent communication skills, able to influence senior stakeholders.

Proven track record in client‑facing roles, delivering measurable impact.

Fluency in English and French.

Swiss/EU nationality or valid Swiss permit required.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Familiarity with digital supply chain tools (SAP IBP, Kinaxis, E2Open, o9, Blue Yonder).

Certifications in Lean Six Sigma, APICS/CSCP, or supply chain management.

Experience in sustainable supply chain strategies (green logistics, circular economy).
