The Department of Cardiology at the University Hospital Zurich (USZ) is one of Switzerland's leading centers for cardiovascular medicine, combining highly specialized patient care with internationally recognized clinical and translational research. Physicians, researchers, and interdisciplinary specialists work closely together to advance innovative diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in cardiology. To strengthen our scientific team, we are looking for a motivated and dedicated Research Assistant / Scientific Collaborator with a strong interest in clinical research, scientific writing, data analysis, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Main Responsibilities

Preparation of research proposals and acquisition of external funding

Literature research and writing of scientific articles

Data collection, data management, data analysis, and statistical analysis

Assumption of administrative tasks within the study context

Teaching and supervision of master's students

Collaboration with other research assistants in the research group

Collaboration in interdisciplinary research projects with insights into different disciplines

Your profile

Advanced or completed studies in medicine

Sound knowledge of statistics and research methods

Ability to work independently and scientifically

Ability to work in a team, willingness to perform, flexibility, and reliability

Very good knowledge of German and/or English
