Scientifically analyze and communicate climate model data and scenarios

Develop products and applications related to national climate scenarios (e.g. in the field of extreme events and/or machine learning)

Contribute to projects in the context of climate scenarios

Collaborate with national and international partners, in particular ETH Zurich, C2SM, and other meteorological services

Prepare reports, documentation, and scientific publications

This makes you unique

University degree (minimum Master's level) in environmental sciences or a comparable field

Strong expertise in climate scenarios, as well as experience in handling, analyzing, and applying climate model data

Proficient in modern analytical methods; knowledge of machine learning is considered an asset

Proactive, goal‑oriented, analytical, and communicative personality

Good command of a second official language as well as excellent proficiency in English

In a nutshell MeteoSwiss develops climate scenarios in collaboration with academic partners as a foundation for climate change adaptation. You will develop products and applications based on the new Swiss climate scenarios“Climate CH2025” and prepare them in a clear, accessible, and user‑oriented manner for different target groups.
