Internship– Pharmacovigilance Specialist – 7-8 months temporary contract – immediately available – German speaking (Ref. 2767) In this role, you will manage and coordinate local pharmacovigilance activities while ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations and internal standards. You will work closely with global and local stakeholders, including Medical, Regulatory, and cross‑functional teams, acting as a key interface for safety‑related topics. This position offers a combination of operational execution and strategic involvement in ensuring patient safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Manage local pharmacovigilance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal procedures, and contractual agreements.

Act as deputy for key safety roles, supporting oversight of local PV systems and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure accurate and timely handling of safety data, including case processing, reporting, and database management.

Support audits, inspections, and CAPA activities, ensuring inspection readiness at all times.

Coordinate safety issue handling, including escalations and communication with health authorities when required.

Contribute to risk management activities, including Risk Management Plans and additional risk minimization measures.

Support cross‑functional collaboration, training activities, and continuous improvement of PV processes and documentation.

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, Chemistry, or a related field.

Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in Pharmacovigilance within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

Good knowledge of EU and local pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional, matrix environment.

Strong communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Fluency in German, English and French required.
