Team Lead IAM Consulting

to lead one of our consulting teams within the Identity Security department.

This role follows our decoupled leadership model, where you combine hands‑on consulting with people leadership responsibilities:

70% - 80% Client Delivery as Senior IAM Consultant

20% - 30% People Leadership as Team Lead for approximately 10 IAM Consultants

This role is ideal for a technically strong IAM professional who enjoys coaching people, managing delivery capacity, and helping shape the strategic growth of our IAM practice. The structure mirrors your standard SECURIX technical consultant job descriptions.

What You’ll Do Leadership Responsibilities (20‑30%)

Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 10 IAM Consultants.

Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and development discussions.

Manage team capacity, utilization, and staffing across projects.

Support consultants in achieving their technical and career development goals.

Foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture focused on quality and accountability.

Identify training and certification opportunities for team members.

Recruit, onboard, and mentor new consultants.

Work closely with the Head of Identity Security to implement strategic initiatives and grow the IAM capability.

Client Delivery Responsibilities (70‑80%)

Deliver IAM, IGA, and CIAM projects as Senior Consultant or Solution Architect.

Design and implement solutions based on leading IAM platforms such as:

Conduct workshops to gather business, technical, and security requirements.

Translate customer needs into secure, scalable IAM architectures.

Implement use cases such as Joiner, Mover, Leaver, access governance, SSO, MFA, and provisioning.

Support pre‑sales activities, effort estimation, and technical proposal development.

What You Bring

3+ years of hands‑on consulting experience in IAM, IGA, or CIAM.

Strong practical experience with at least one IAM platform such as Omada, Okta, Cidaas, or Nevis.

Proven experience leading technical teams or mentoring consultants.

Experience in capacity planning, utilization management, and project staffing.

Deep understanding of IAM concepts and standards such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, LDAP, and RBAC.

Experience integrating IAM solutions with enterprise systems such as SAP, Active Directory, Entra ID, HR systems, and cloud services.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent English; German is a significant advantage.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Bonus Points

Certifications in IAM platforms (Omada, Okta, Nevis, etc.).

ISO‑27k certification

CISSP certification

Experience with scripting in PowerShell or Python.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Familiarity with PAM and cloud security.

Experience in a fast‑growing consulting or cybersecurity environment.
