The earliest start date for the internship will be
1 June 2026 , with an anticipated length of 6 months.
Project Outline You will be working in our international, collaborative Global Supply Quality (GSQ) Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team.
The ambition of the program is to design and support the implementation of a structured methodology enabling risk‑informed trade‑offs related to manufacturing and supply network design and operations. The project will focus on improving the ability to compare alternative manufacturing and supply scenarios, considering different risk dimensions that may impact product supply continuity and business performance.
How you will contribute
You will be assigned to support a workstream of a major cross‑functional program, working closely with
GSQ Network Strategy
team and stakeholders from
Manufacturing ,
Quality ,
Distribution&Logistics Operations ,
Direct Procurement , and other Business partners.
You will use your theoretical and/or practical knowledge of
supply chain operations and statistical concepts , to help analyze and compare different scenarios, supporting informed decision‑making in the context of manufacturing and supply network trade‑offs.
You will provide updates and reports on your activities, essential for steering your work and integrating into the team.
The planned output of the internship will be a
clearly defined and documented methodology
demonstrated through a
practical use case applied to a real manufacturing and supply network trade‑off scenario .
What you bring to Takeda
You must be authorized to work in Switzerland without the need for additional immigration sponsorship, housing allowance or relocation requirements.
You are currently enrolled in a
Master’s degree program
at a university or a university of applied sciences or a recent graduate (within the last 12 months), preferably in Supply Chain Operations, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; background or coursework in Economics is a plus.
Intellectual curiosity and collaboration skills will ensure you effectively handle your project and make a valuable impact.
Structured and analytical mindset, with the ability to break down complex topics and support scenario comparison and trade‑off discussions.
Familiarity with statistical concepts and basic data analysis, with the ability to interpret data to support decision‑making.
Digital awareness, including comfort working Takeda analytical tools and AI agents for research and advanced analytics.
