Among the European leaders in Enterprise Risk Management and Wealth&Asset Management solutions, Prometeia is seeking a Java Developer to join our Wealth&Asset Management consulting team in Switzerland. The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting the company’s growth in Switzerland by maintaining and enhancing solutions for existing clients, and contributing to implementation projects for new clients.

MAIN TASKS

Define, setup and run a maintenance process to support solutions by existing clients

Assure productive Clients run smoothly and manage them in case of problems, acting as the first point of contact.

Understand client needs and propose advanced competitive solutions;

Analyze, design, and develop new solutions according to company technologies, standards, and rules;

Deploy solutions in the test and production environments

Coordinate test activities with the Client

Be the reference technical contact person in Switzerland for the development and research team at Prometeia headquarters.

Coordinate the activities with the Country Head for Switzerland.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

2-3 years of experience as a software developer in Java, HTML5, and using frameworks such as Angular, SQL queries.

Strong familiarity with solutions deployed in a container platform, such as OpenShift or Kubernetes

Able to manage solutions in SaaS mode

Ability to work remotely in teams that are located at the headquarters

Full business proficiency in English

Bachelor's/Master’s from a recognized institute, preferably specializing in Business / Banking / Computer Science related disciplines;

Knowledge in banking domains with a good understanding of the Private Banking and Wealth/Asset Management business models/processes

SOFT SKILLS

Strong problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a team, be flexible, and be able to work independently

Good communication and interpersonal skills
