Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using declarative and reproducible approaches Apply solid software engineering principles to infrastructure, automation, and tooling Build and operate systems with a strong focus on reliability, security, and correctness Work extensively with containerized and orchestrated environmentsMaintain and improve build and deployment pipelines Understand and reason about networking and security concerns across environments Continuously improve system robustness through careful analysis and iteration Understand the difficulty of managing entropy in a complex system and adapt accordinglyRequirements

Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field (or equivalent practical experience) Strong understanding of core software engineering principles (abstractions, modularity, correctness, testing) Experience modeling infrastructure declaratively (infrastructure as code)Experience with Kubernetes, and a solid understanding of Docker and container fundamentals Experience with functional programming concepts or languages Solid understanding of networking concepts and security fundamentals Experience working with at least one major cloud provider High degree of precision, thoroughness, and attention to detailAbility to reason carefully about complex systems and edge cases Nice to Have

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks Familiarity with distributed systems and reliability engineering Experience with monitoring, observability, and incident response Exposure to security-focused infrastructure or compliance environments What We Value
