ETH Zürich is well known for its excellent education, ground‑breaking fundamental research, and for implementing its results directly into practice. The Department of Mathematics invites applications for two mathematicians with a focus on algebra, geometry, or topology.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate an outstanding research record and lead high‑quality research.

Participate in collaborative work within and outside the department.

Teach undergraduate courses in German or English and graduate courses in English.

Qualifications

Outstanding research record in algebra, geometry, or topology.

Proven ability to direct research work of highest quality.

Willingness to engage in collaborative research.
