Role Overview We are looking for a Project Manager in international plant engineering to support our sales team at the headquarters in Muttenz/BL. The role involves managing projects from basic design through acceptance and handover of the plant to the customer, while being responsible for all technical and commercial matters.
Responsibilities
Manage projects from basic design through acceptance and handover of the plant to the customer.
Serve as the main contact person for all internal and external stakeholders.
Clarify technical details with internal departments (design, process development, sales, control technology, logistics, purchasing, etc.), suppliers, and customers.
Maintain responsibility for project deadlines and budget throughout the project lifecycle.
Organise internal and external status meetings.
Design and specify instrumentation and technical equipment.
Supervise construction and pipework planning prepared by external partners.
Coordinate construction site activities at the head office with on‑site managers.
Occasional travel to international customers (maximum 10% of working time).
Qualifications
Graduate engineer (technical college/university) in process engineering or mechanical engineering, or equivalent qualification.
Several years of experience as a project manager in plant engineering.
Comfortable working in an international environment with different cultures.
Fluent in English, both written and oral.
Ability to perform technical work and handle routine tasks.
The ability to make decisions and represent and enforce them appropriately.
