Regional Supply Planner, Meyrin

Overview:

The Regional Supply Planner is responsible for developing and executing the monthly acetic anhydride, ethyl acetate and OMSD affiliated products plan as part of the monthly S&OP process to meet customer requirements while minimizing distribution costs.

Responsibilities:

YOU will be involved in the following tasks:

- Develop a rolling production plan for EMEA IC and OMSD product lines to meet demand requirements for monthly S&OP including supply meetings, available production capacity, shipping requirements, establishing monthly loading plans and managing 3rd party supply - Manage IC and OMSD products produced and/or sold within EMEA and key raw material (RM) inventory to ensure strategic imperatives and key working capital metrics are met- Conduct regional OMSD S&OP meetings monthly to balance demand and supply - Run planning scenarios and develop recommended solutions to meet business needs - Optimize distribution costs related to monthly supply planning including site sourcing plans and utilization of 3rd party tanks and terminals - Plan and optimize EMEA RM and finished goods requirements including requisition entry and purchase order (PO) management- Develop contingency plans with recommendations to mitigate supply risks - Maintain SAP R/3 MRP data for supply and inventory - Lead special projects to improve processes and reduce costs

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Knowledge of the Intermediate Chemistry (IC) business - Experience with SAP or other ERP systems - Strong business acumen - Strong internal and external negotiation skills - Customer‑focused mindset - Fluent in German (plus)
