Service Engineer Laser, Meyrin

Responsibilities

Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of laser texturing and cutting machine

Execution of retrofits, upgrades, and machine conversion

Identification and implementation of optimization opportunities in close collaboration with Development and 2nd Level Support

Professional handling, troubleshooting, analysis, and documentation of service case

Support in creating, reviewing, and improving technical documentation and process procedure

Occasional assistance with trade fair setup and dismantling activitie

Ensuring full compliance with Advanced Manufacturing safety standards, including particle emissions, laser radiation, contamination control, gas handling, and explosion preventio

Participation in additional functional responsibilities based on expertise and business requirements (e.g., internal training, quality initiatives, or special technical projects— approximately 10% of working time)

Qualifications

Completed technical vocational training, ideally with an additional qualification as a certified technici

several years of experience as a Service Technician for laser machines or comparable high-tech industrial equipme

Strong customer-service orientation combined with an independent and structured work approa

High willingness to travel (up to 90%) across Europe and Switzerla

Good MS Office skills and strong IT knowledge in hardware and software environmen

Fluent English skills are mandatory, along with fluent German or Fren

High commitment to providing excellent customer support and service quali
