Construction Superintendent (Topside - Local Chinese), Villarsel-sur-Marly

Purpose The Senior Construction Engineer is responsible for coordinating all construction activities in project/onsite, facilitating effective communication between various stakeholders, ensuring they are carried out in compliance with the project HSSE, Quality and schedule requirements.

You oversee and coordinate all technical and administrative construction activities, ensuring the project objectives are met efficiently and within budget and schedule.

Responsibilities

Conducting the constructability review and provide input to Engineering.

Conducting and overseeing advanced technical evaluations, risk assessments, and feasibility studies to guide project decision‑making.

Providing guidance and advanced technical expertise on construction techniques to the project/site team, ensuring best practices are followed.

Addressing operational challenges, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to improve construction performance and reduce non‑productive time.

Coordinating the interface and priorities between disciplines to solve construction issues, following up on the construction status and progress to meet the schedule.

Providing guidance and mentorship to the project construction team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Education

At least a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field with strong knowledge of construction principles and processes, and HSSE regulations.

Experience

At least 8 years extensive experience in construction with proven track record of successful project delivery in complex environments, combined with excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
