Occupational therapist wanted for nursing home in Lucerne We are looking for an enthusiastic occupational therapist for a nursing home in Lucerne, with an affinity for geriatrics.
The organisation: It is an interdisciplinary and vibrant institution with several locations around Lucerne city. The organisation makes an important contribution to elderly care in the region with a wide range of different professions. Are you interested in geriatrics and rehabilitation? Then read on soon.
The area: Lucerne is located in central Switzerland and lies at the foot of the Alps. It is the ideal location for outdoor sports such as mountain biking and snowboarding/skiing. You can be on the ski slopes within half an hour but if you would like to go to Italy once in a while, that is also possible within 2.5 hours! Also, Zurich is less than an hour away.
What do we expect:
A completed bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
Pleasure and patience in dealing with elderly people
Practical experience and knowledge in gerontology, psychiatry and rheumatology, in adapting tools for the elderly and in dealing with people with dementia
Independent working style and enjoy working in interdisciplinary cooperation
Good oral and written expression skills in the German language (at least level B2)
