ICT Consultant, Lugano

ICT Consultant Alt Infrastructure SA is seeking a senior professional to develop and lead technology strategy in an international context. The role involves infrastructure development, fundraising, and partnership management within Switzerland and Europe.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic initiatives related to AI infrastructure, data‑centre development, data‑processing platform expansion, energy‑optimised site development, advanced connectivity and technology platform strategy.

Support identification, evaluation and establishment of strategic partnerships with investors, developers, technology providers, energy sector counterparts and institutional stakeholders.

Advise management on technology positioning, market entry, commercial strategy and long‑term growth opportunities in Switzerland and Europe.

Contribute to financing strategy, investor communications and transaction support for project development, joint ventures and broader platform expansion.

Evaluate new opportunities focusing on technical differentiation, execution risk, regulatory complexity, infrastructure readiness and strategic fit.

Coordinate commercial, technical, legal and financial workflows to translate strategic objectives into actionable development plans.

Prepare high‑level strategic documents, investment memoranda, partnership summaries and analyses for the board of directors.

Requirements

Solid experience in digital infrastructure, real‑estate, advanced technologies, fundraising and cross‑border strategic development.

At least ten years of senior management experience in infrastructure, technology commercialisation, strategic consulting, investment or related sectors.

Excellent knowledge of AI infrastructure, high‑performance computing, data centres, power supply and connectivity, and commercial requirements of compute‑intensive platforms.

Experience working with institutional investors, strategic partners and on complex cross‑border transactions.

Ability to balance technical, financial and commercial considerations in emerging infrastructure markets.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of drafting high‑level strategic and operational documents.

Preference for candidates with experience in advanced IT fields such as quantum computing, post‑quantum cryptography, satellite spectrum, secure digital infrastructure, communication systems, digital asset infrastructure or other cutting‑edge technologies relevant to next‑generation infrastructure.

Excellent knowledge of Italian and English.
