As part of this vision, we are seeking an Instrument Engineer to join our Instrument&Electrical Section. This role offers the opportunity to work in an international, detail‑oriented, and passionate environment, contributing to the success of our projects.
The Instrument Engineer is responsible for the development and integration of instrumentation and automation systems for Casale plants. This includes leading the design, specification, and follow‑up of instrumentation activities to ensure optimal plant functionality, safety, and reliability across all project phases.
Project&Technical Coordination
Lead and coordinate instrumentation engineering activities for complex projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines. Provide technical support during the bidding phase, ensuring a clear understanding of client expectations and project scope.
Define technical requisitions and specifications for instrumentation and automation systems to ensure performance, compliance, and safety of Casale plants.
Procurement&Vendor Interaction
Support the Procurement Department in the supplier selection process through technical alignment and bid evaluations.
Review and approve vendor drawings, documentation, and testing procedures related to instrumentation equipment.
Conduct technical follow‑up on purchasing orders, resolving any technical issues that may arise.
Engineering Deliverables
Prepare and verify general specifications, instrument data sheets, and control system documentation during the executive project phase.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project‑specific requirements.
Construction&Commissioning
Supervise the installation, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning phases of instrumentation systems.
Define and approve testing procedures to be performed before delivery and during commissioning, ensuring smooth plant start‑up.

Languages Fluency in English language.
Software Knowledge Proficiency in engineering tools and software suites like CONVAL. Basic knowledge of COMOS is also appreciated. Strong knowledge of the MS Office environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project).
Skills
Good team‑player; ability to build relationships inside and outside the company.
Self‑motivated with strong organizing skills.
Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
Good knowledge of international codes and standards.
Experience
At least 8–10 years as Instrument Engineer in Oil&Gas or Petrochemical Engineering&Construction Contractor. Preferable experience on Fertilizer Projects.
Background in field engineering is also required.
Availability for short‑term trips in foreign countries.
