The Qualifier Riders and Event Coordinator plays a crucial role in the Sport Department of Freeride World Tour. This role involves serving as the main point of contact for athletes, ensuring they have a smooth, successful experience. You'll work closely with event organisers to ensure everything runs smoothly and assist the management of in-house events. The Freeride World Tour organises the most demanding skiing and snowboarding competitions in the world, from the Bec des Rosses in Verbier to the spines of Haines, Alaska. The Tour is home to the Xtreme Verbier, founded in 1996, and to the FIS Freeride World Championships, which crowned its first champions in Andorra in February 2026.Based near Lausanne, our team of 25 runs 6 Pro stops, 9 Challenger events, 120+ Qualifier events, and 180+ Junior events each season across five continents. Beyond the core team, the FWT family stretches to 120 people, including athletes, partners, media, judges, and broadcast production crew, moving from venue to venue from January to April.Fast-paced, international, sometimes slightly chaotic. We work in the mountains with some of the most inspiring people in the sport. This involves managing athlete qualifications, coordinating Junior, Qualifier and Challenger events in Europe Asia Oceania, and overseeing all aspects of the competition process. In this challenging position, you will be working in the sports team of a young and dynamic sport where you will gain an in-depth understanding of the sport of freeriding. For a 7-month internship, we are seeking a smart, flexible, and detail-oriented intern to assist the Sports Development Manager with daily operational tasks of the Freeride World Tour Qualifier&Challenger that consist of, but are not limited to: RIDERS MANAGEMENT

FWT Qualifier Riders Management and main contact for athletes in the Europe and Oceania region Communication with FWT Qualifier and Challenger athletes and coaches on all channels (email, phone) on a daily basis REGISTRATION PLATFORM (LIVEHEATS)

Managing and maintaining the member/event registration platform and database Setting up events and event registrations Constantly monitoring and adapting event registrations Updating results and ranking First-level support for members EVENT ORGANISERS

Working closely with Qualifier&Challenger event organizers before, during, and after events Sending updated entries and waiting lists to organizers CONTENT MANAGEMENT

Maintaining and updating the website through CMS (WordPress) Updating the event pages on the FWT Website Assisting with uploads of content on all channels (web news, photos, videos) EVENTS

Assisting the event manager at selected in-house events organized by FWT Athlete management at events (registration, accreditation, updates, etc.) Operational tasks during competitions (e.g., competition tasks, mountain operations) ADMINISTRATIVE

Student/Graduate in Tourism, Business, or Sports Management, or similar Excellent native English skills (spoken and written) Fluency in French (spoken and written), Spanish, or German is an asset Excellent communication skills– strong in writing and wording Proficient computer skills and experience with database software and content managementFlexible, structured, and detail-oriented with a high quality and service level Pro-active and thorough work attitude Able to work independently and efficiently within a small team Remains self-composed under pressure and has good time management skills Interest in sports in general, and to enjoy the great outdoors, including winter sportsWilling to travel extensively during the winter season Recognises and accepts that during the season, demands can be 24x7 WHAT WE OFFER
