Development Engineer, Tägerwilen

A highly innovative Medical Technology company is currently looking to strengthen its R&D team with the addition of a Development Engineer specialising in High Voltage / Pulse Power technologies.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work on genuinely cutting-edge medical technology, supporting the development of advanced high-voltage systems and next‑generation therapeutic devices within a highly technical and research‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Development of high-voltage and impulse current medical technology systems.

Design of HV circuits and insulation concepts.

Building and developing measurement systems and testing environments.

Verification&validation testing of components and systems.

Supporting IEC standards testing and technical documentation activities.

Collaborating closely with R&D, Product Management, and Service teams on innovative technology projects.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field (PhD highly desirable).

Strong experience within high-voltage technology, pulse power, or power electronics.

Experience designing HV circuits and insulation systems.

Ideally experience within Medical Devices or another regulated industry.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
