Staff Accountant - Real Estate, Kloten

Staff Accountant– Real Estate Accounting Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Staff Accountant to join our Real Estate Accounting team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the broader corporate accounting team and play a key role in maintaining Hyatt’s standing as a leading hospitality company.

Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries, maintain multiple fixed asset sub-ledgers, reconcile balance sheet accounts, conduct financial statement analytical analysis, and compile details for quarterly statement of cash flows and footnote disclosures.

Assist with cross‑functional collaboration with corporate accounting teams and handle ad‑hoc requests to improve or streamline accounting processes.

Maintain global fixed assets, including additions, transfers, retirements, and depreciation for owned/leased properties.

Prepare quarterly and annual external reporting schedules related to cash flows and footnotes.

Qualifications Experience Required

1–3 years of experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, or equivalent role.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience Preferred

Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Compensation&Benefits Hourly rate ranges from $35.89 to $41.00 depending on experience, skill level, and other qualifications. Pay will meet local requirements, including local minimum wage.
