TannerMAP is seeking a Supply Chain and Logistics Coordinator to support its global operations from its Swiss affiliate. This position sits within the TannerMAP team in Switzerland, which helps provide donated medicines to more than 30,000 patients across 70 low- and middle-income countries. The role supports the global distribution hub in Switzerland, which manages inbound shipments and prepares orders for dispatch to six distribution centres and more than 100 customers worldwide. The Supply Chain and Logistics Coordinator will play an important role in order placement, distribution coordination and related administrative activities across the programmes, while supporting the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager in the management of supplier, customer, and subcontractor-related matters.
Role Accountabilities Expected Responsibilities for the
Supply Chain and Logistics Coordinator
are:
Manage monthly order placement activities in a timely and accurate manner.
Oversee goods receipt activities for the Switzerland hub.
Work closely with third‑party transportation providers to monitor, track, and report on shipments.
Coordinate the collection of all required shipping documentation to support timely shipment release.
Liaise with the Quality Assurance Responsible Person on supplier and customer approval processes.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain and logistics processes.
Maintain accurate order records in internal systems and ensure physical filing systems remain current and organised.
We will consider both full‑time and part‑time applicants.
Desired Candidate Profile&Capabilities Required
Previous experience in a similar supply chain, logistics, or accounting role, ideally within the life sciences industry.
Experience working with ERP systems; knowledge of NetSuite would be an advantage.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through effectively on commitments.
Fluency in written and spoken English and German is required.
Familiarity with Swiss culture, customs and the local working environment would be beneficial.
A customer‑focused mindset and the flexibility to respond effectively to business and customer needs.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and manage periods of increased workload.
A proactive and self‑motivated approach, with a strong willingness to learn and take initiative.
Knowledge of Good Distribution Practices and Swissmedic regulations would be advantageous.
A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Results Orientation : The ability to focus on the desired result of one’s own or one’s unit’s work, setting challenging goals, focusing effort on the goals, and meeting or exceeding them.
