Events Assistant for 2 months (can be extended), Geneva

As part of a temporary reinforcement, our client is seeking an Events Assistant for an initial 2-month assignment, with the possibility of extension up to 6 months. You will join a dynamic team responsible for organizing high-level events (conferences, intergovernmental meetings, workshops, etc.) and contribute to the successful delivery of event-related activities.

Missions

- Provide logistical support for events (room bookings, coordination of venues, equipment, catering) - Manage participant registrations and ensure proper administrative follow-up - Liaise with external vendors and internal stakeholders - Assist in the preparation of event documentation (agendas, participant lists, materials)- Support on-site event delivery and ensure smooth operations - Contribute to administrative tasks within the team (reporting, database updates, etc.)

Profil du candidat

- Degree in Events Management, Communications, International Relations, or a related field - Initial experience in event coordination, ideally within an international environment - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting- Fluency in English (written and spoken); French is an asset - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) - Service-oriented mindset, flexibility, and team spirit
