The WIPO Internship Program offers students and recent graduates the chance to gain experience at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Applications are reviewed against qualifications and motivation letters.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an
online interview or test
(30–45 minutes).
Selection is based on WIPO’s organizational competencies.

All countries worldwide.
How Many Awards?
Multiple internship positions annually (varies by department).
What is the Benefit of the Internship?
Monthly stipend:
CHF 1,645– 2,170.
Travel reimbursement:
Up to CHF 1,500 for interns from developing/least developed countries.
Medical and accident insurance coverage.
Annual leave: 2.5 days per month + 10 official holidays.
How Long Will the Internship Last?
2–12 months.
