This is a key position, for an experienced person within a small but busy finance function - banking environment. The position combines day‑to‑day accounting responsibilities with all aspects of financial control as well as regulatory reporting (SNB statistics etc). This job would suit very well someone coming from an accounting or financial controller role within a bank. You will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy offinancial records and compliance with Swiss regulatory requirements as well as working closely with the Head of Finance&Risk. Maintain and oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly closings Prepare statutory financial statements under Swiss banking standards Produce and submit regulatory reports to FINMA and the Swiss National Bank (SNB) Perform SNB reporting using the FIRE system (mandatory) Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual reportingSupport external and internal audits, including preparation of documentation Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies Assist with capital/liquidity reporting and basic treasury monitoring Contribute to process improvements and implementation of audit recommendations Liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers where requiredParticipate in wider operational matters as required, reflecting the hands‑on nature of a small banking structure Why Apply

5–10 years of accounting experience within a Swiss bank (Category 4 or 5 preferred) Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Swiss certification (e.g. Brevet Fédéral) is an advantage but not essential Solid experience in preparing financial statements, including month‑end and year‑end closingsProven expertise in regulatory reporting to FINMA Hands‑on experience with SNB reporting via FIRE is a strong plus Strong knowledge of Swiss banking accounting standards and regulatory frameworks Detail‑oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a small team environmentHands‑on, proactive approach with a willingness to take on broad responsibilities Advanced Excel skills and strong general IT proficiency; experience with banking systems is a plus Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken) Must be open to a full‑time, office‑based role (no remote work)Candidates must be authorized to work in Switzerland and reside within commuting distance of Geneva (cross‑border candidates accepted)
