Overview

A private bank based in Geneva is currently seeking a Central File Specialist / Client Documentation Specialist to join its central file team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the quality, accuracy, and compliance of client documentation and processes within the bank. It offers an opportunity to work in close coordination with various departments including Wealth Management, Legal, Compliance, and IT.Responsibilities

Reviewing and validating client documentation related to changes in circumstances and account closures Ensuring compliance with local and international regulations (CDB20, CRS, FATCA/QI) and internal procedures Conducting internal 4-eyes controls and ensuring consistency of client data across all systemsCoordinating with other departments to provide accurate and timely feedback and support Acting as a central point of contact for the documentation process, facilitating communication across departments Participating in projects and regulatory change implementation Keeping procedures and documentation up to date and ensuring clear communication within the team and across branchesQualifications

Prior experience in a client documentation or compliance-related function within a Swiss private bank (minimum 3 years) Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (CDB20, FATCA, CRS, AML, etc.) Strong attention to detail and a proactive, client-service mindset Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsProven expertise in handling documentation for both physical persons and legal entities (complex structures) Strong command of English (German, French or Italian is a plus) Swiss residency is required
