Mer information Join CERN’s High Power Converters (HPC) section, which is responsible for the design, construction, installation, operation, and maintenance of multi‑MW power converters and Static Var Compensators. You will work with engineers and technicians on upgrade activities for the SPS and PS main power converters. These systems are distributed across several buildings and will undergo significant upgrades over the next three years. The role is hands‑on and site‑based, with strong collaboration across technical teams.

Be sure to meet the eligibility criteria

By the application deadline, you have a maximum of 2 years of professional experience since graduation in a technical or administrative field and your highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma or a shorter non‑university degree. You can’t hold a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or PhD.

You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
