Role overview We’re supporting upcoming data centre commissioning projects in Switzerland and are looking to engage experienced Commissioning Engineers / CX Engineers with strong Microsoft data centre experience. This role is suited to engineers with a strong background in mission-critical commissioning environments, particularly those who have supported systems through startup, testing and handover on hyperscale projects. You’ll support commissioning activities across large-scale data centre environments, working closely with commissioning teams, contractors and client-side stakeholders through multiplecommissioning phases. The role requires engineers who are comfortable operating within fast-paced site environments and supporting critical infrastructure systems from installation through to operational handover.

Key responsibilities

Support commissioning activities across Microsoft data centre projects

Perform mechanical and/or electrical commissioning activities

Support systems through L1–L5 commissioning phases

Assist with startup, testing, IST and system validation activities

Support integrated systems testing and final handover

Coordinate with subcontractors, commissioning teams and client-side stakeholders

Ensure systems are delivered in line with project and operational requirements

Strong experience within data centre or mission-critical commissioning environments

Experience on Microsoft data centre projects strongly preferred

Experience across:

IST / RFS

Startup and handover activities

Mechanical commissioning backgrounds preferred, electrical also considered

CXA experience beneficial

Comfortable working within GC-side or client-side project teams

Strong practical commissioning background required

Site-based role in Switzerland

Contract / freelance engagement

Long‑term project pipeline with ongoing opportunities expected

French beneficial
