CIS Specialist Onboarding&Periodic Reviews Compliance Officer, Geneva

Job Description Position: Compliance Analyst/Officer. Join an international and dynamic team of 20 colleagues based in Zürich, Geneva or Lugano, developing compliance skills in a high‑stakes, visible role with extensive front‑office contact.

Main Responsibilities

Conduct AML/TF due diligence for client onboarding, including standard and enhanced reviews for Russian/CIS markets.

Perform periodic reviews, executing enhanced AML/TF due diligence on high‑risk, special high‑risk, PEP cases and complex cases with CIS analysis.

Provide advice and support to the Front Office on all KYC/AML matters, including CIS.

Present HRC/PEP/SHRC cases to the Client Acceptance Committee, delivering risk assessments and compliance recommendations.

Skills and Experience

Minimum 5 years experience in compliance roles (KYC/AML/TF, transaction monitoring, FATCA) within a Swiss private bank.

Proven knowledge and experience in CIS markets is mandatory.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Russian and/or CIS languages are preferred; German, French or Italian are a plus.

Strong communication, conflict resolution, integrity and self‑driven mindset.

Exceptional attention to detail, time‑management and ability to meet tight deadlines on remediation programs.

Capacity to work under pressure and adapt to unexpected tasks.
