Field Service Engineer, Biotech, Europe, Geneva

Do you have experience servicing plate readers or related equipment in the life sciences industry? This is your opportunity to travel to a diverse group of labs while advancing the growth of a premier service provider.

Overview You will support customers by performing regular maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of laboratory instruments for our client, which includes pharmaceutical laboratories, research institutions, and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.

Location: Home-office based in Western Europe

Duties Include:

Service life sciences plate readers and ELISA processing systems and instruments at clients' labs

Effectively communicate with customers and account team members to troubleshoot, diagnose, provide repair updates, train end-users, and ensure full resolution of all customer needs

Establish fluency in relevant service documentation, including but not limited to preventative maintenance service reports, IQ/OQ documentation, and other service documentation

Providing customers and other personnel within the assigned region with the necessary support and documentation required to effect instrument repairs, maintenance, and installations

Travel as required to provide service support to customers and other company personnel (up to 70%)

Knowledge and Skills:

At least 2 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting electromechanical equipment

Experience with biotech plate readers

Able to travel regionally, including overnight travel, and need a valid driver’s license

Military experience is a plus
