Company Overview Unilabs is the largest provider of medical laboratory diagnostics for prescribers and hospitals in Switzerland and employs around 800 people.

Responsibilities

Manage databases such as SQL, MySQL, Oracle, Progress, or other relational systems to ensure data integrity, security, and performance.

Develop, maintain and enhance applications using Java, Python, .NET, C#, or other relevant programming languages.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to databases, applications, and IT infrastructure.

Lead or participate in IT projects from initiation to completion, using Agile (Scrum) or traditional (PMP) methodologies.

Ensure clear communication in both English and German.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Strong project‑management experience, preferably Agile or PMP.

Independence and teamwork skills, with a proactive and problem‑solving mindset.

Knowledge of laboratory operations, information systems (LIS), middleware integration, instrument interfaces, and laboratory automation.

Exposure to business intelligence tools such as PowerBI or similar is advantageous.
