In doing so, we play a critical role in building a better working world for our people, clients and communities.EY supports financial departments in meeting the major challenges of the finance function: measuring the efficiency and value creation of companies, supporting digital transformation, being a player in company strategy, participating in investment policy and financing but also to optimize processes and improve control of the finance function.Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) professionals provide advisory services to a wide range of clients across different industries covering a broad spectrum of services in finance function transformation, performance management, consolidated reporting, accounting excellence, treasury, optimization of financial processes and internal control, and accounting assistance for transactions (acquisition, carve out, IPO, refinancing, etc.).What you can expect– enriching experiences that will last a lifetime Your key responsibilities Support our clients in implementing new accounting standards, adapting and transforming their Finance function, reporting processes and operating model - striking an optimal balance between effectiveness, efficiency andcontrolCollaborate with the EY FAAS leadership in Switzerland to develop and execute on strategies for individual clients to satisfy high client expectations Work with specialists from different departments and subject matter experts in providing an integrated service delivery model across functions in an international team to meet our clients’ high expectationsEnsure everyone on the team fully understands the client's business needs and expectations to develop client deliverables that are client-focused, clear, accurate and well-presented Ensure work is delivered in a timely manner and in compliance with regulatory requirements Engage and develop new opportunities related to new FAAS projects, solutions, and relationshipsSkills and attributes for success To qualify for the role you must have Bachelor or Master degree, complemented with a further relevant professional education (e.g. Swiss Certified Accountant, CPA, or ACCA) 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in Audit and/or Consulting– incl. expertise in latest IFRS developmentsProactive, flexible and team-oriented from concept and design through to implementation of projects.
