Key responsibilities
Planning and performing maintenance and calibration activities for electrical, measurement, and control systems (EMR equipment)
Executing preventive and corrective maintenance according to internal schedules, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
Troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions, including sensors, transmitters, control loops, and automation interfaces
Documenting all maintenance and calibration work in the appropriate systems (e.g., CMMS, calibration software)
Ensuring compliance with GMP, GAMP, safety regulations, and internal quality standards
Supporting production operations by ensuring high availability and reliability of EMR equipment
Collaborating with engineering, automation, and production teams to improve equipment performance and reliability
Participating in equipment qualification and validation activities, including FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ
Identifying improvement opportunities in maintenance processes, calibration intervals, and equipment lifecycle management
Ensuring spare parts availability and maintaining inventory for EMR-related components
Supporting audits and inspections by providing documentation and technical explanations when required
Key requirements
Equivalent experience in Electrical or System Engineering or a related field, including University Degree or equivalent experience, or vocational education (EFZ, FH, HF, BSc.)
Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of pharmaceutical plants or the biotech industry
Proficiency in SAP, COMOS (Plant Engineering Software), DeltaV (Process Control System), and MES Syncade (Manufacturing Execution System) is highly desirable
Proficient in English and/or German to competently communicate in our diverse, collaborative environment
Familiarity with GMP standards and protocols to ensure compliance in a regulated manufacturing setting
A self-reliant, trustworthy, and effective working approach that ensures successful completion of tasks and projects
