Boarding Assistant Collège Alpin Beau‑Soleil - Villars‑sur‑Ollon (VD). Employment start: 01 Sep 2026, end: 30 Jun 2027. Full time (100 %).
Overview Boarding Assistant position available from September 2026 to June 2027.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Housemaster/Mistress and Deputy Housemaster/Mistress to ensure the smooth running of the house and provide the best care and experience for students.
Build relationships with students and support them as individuals.
Be an active, dynamic, and positive presence during the day and evening.
Assist with house administration as required.
Be extensively involved in the weekend programme.
Support 6–8 lessons per week.
Assist two activities or sports teams across the year.
Provide overnight supervision in the Boarding House.
Help at La Sionnaire during the winter season (chalet on the ski slopes).
Support study supervision.
Collaborate with the Health Centre team to provide support and escort students to doctors/dental appointments.
Handle reception duties.
Arrange airport transfers.
Attend weekly training and support meetings.
Carry out any other duties required by the school.
Qualifications
Degree level qualification.
Native or high level proficiency in English; good level in French is helpful but not essential.
Good IT skills.
Experience
Experience working with young people in a residential setting is helpful but not essential.
Person Specification
Enthusiastic and willing to get involved in a wide variety of activities.
A team player.
Proactive and willing to take initiative.
Confident communication skills.
Good organisational and planning skills.
A good sense of humour.
Ability to form good working relationships within the house team, boarding team and across the school.
Willingness to follow an internal CPD programme during the year.
European passport holder to comply with Swiss work‑permit regulations.

10‑month fixed contract (Sept 2026 – Jun 2027).
