Working at Burgerspittel - we engage with warmth and professionalism Head of Technical Services (80 - 100%) From now or by arrangement.

Responsibilities

Lead the Technical Services team, including interns and volunteers.

Ensure safety compliance and implement safety regulations.

Manage maintenance and repairs for all building systems.

Leading the Technical Services team including integration placement and civil service personnel.

Assuming responsibility as Safety Officer (SIBE) and implementing applicable safety regulations.

Ensuring operation, maintenance and fault rectification of all building and facility technology systems.

Organising and documenting technical inspections as well as coordinating on-call and intervention services.

Providing technical services for residents and operations, including order processing, room and event technology, and provision of care aids.

Responsibility for material and logistics management with a focus on procurement, inventory management and environmentally responsible disposal.

Ensuring maintenance of machinery, workshop, vehicles as well as transport and cleaning equipment.

Upkeep and care of properties and gardens considering ecological and environmentally friendly principles.

Qualifications

Completed craft or technical vocational training (e.g., caretaker or facility maintenance specialist) and a completed professional examination in facility maintenance or willingness to complete it.

Several years of professional and leadership experience in a similar technical role.

Confident handling of diverse building and system maintenance tasks.

Responsible, proactive and service-oriented working style.

High social competence and clear, respectful communication.

Good spoken and written German skills as well as understanding of Swiss German dialect.

Good IT user skills and confident use of digital work tools.
