Main Responsibilities&Accountabilities
Support the execution of cross‑functional project plans in alignment with defined project strategy and objectives
Translate project strategy into detailed operational plans, including scope, timelines, resource plans, and deliverables
Drive day‑to‑day project management activities across global, matrixed teams to ensure timely and quality delivery
Develop, maintain, and control project documentation, including schedules, resource forecasts, budgets, and risk registers
Monitor project performance against plan (timeline, budget, scope) and proactively implement corrective actions where required
Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies; escalation of critical topics in a structured and timely manner
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date project information in project management systems, ensuring transparency and traceability of decisions, actions, and changes
Analyze critical path, evaluate scenarios, and challenge assumptions to enhance robustness and predictability of project plans
Prepare high‑quality, concise project updates and reports for senior stakeholders
Coordinate cross‑functional alignment and ensure effective communication across stakeholders
Support continuous improvement of project management practices, tools, and processes
Provide informal guidance and knowledge sharing to less experienced project managers or team members
Qualifications&Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred:
Advanced degree (MSc, PhD) or MBA
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred
8+ years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
3–5 years of experience managing cross‑functional projects in a global, matrixed environment
Solid understanding of drug development, manufacturing, and Tech Ops processes
Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality expectations
Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and planning skills
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence without authority
Ability to operate effectively in a complex, matrixed organization
Proficient in project management tools and systems (e.g., Microsoft Project or equivalent)
